Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and older boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles as well as choruses. Following her move from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events singing traditional Latin American Music. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
