Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri has been a popular Indian actress who has gained notoriety for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. The actress began her career acting in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by Tezaab, a film starring veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next appearance was in Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. She was born into a Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing at a young age. When she was a teen, she began acting and struggled for years as the majority of her films at first were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of the top film actors. Following her marriage was over, she took a few months away from performing prior to returning. Recently, she played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India - was given to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name as a social activist.
