Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After her parents divorced, she relocated with her mother into Los Angeles. Even though she had financial difficulties, her 2001 debut was in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. The role she played in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she acted as a principal cast member for the first two seasons. She was also awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace, who had worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, wanted to move to film. Grace has been as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The same character was played by Grace in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes playing Shannon. In 2013 she appears in Season 6 of Californication. She plays Faith as a girl who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the eye from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal clan as well as the younger sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career in the teen years with minor parts in a few of the films of her father and starred with her brother in the popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). Later, she was as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's lead roles in Secretary, a romantic comedy-drama erotico, and Sherrybaby (a film) have earned her nominations to the Golden Globe Awards. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. The film was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). Following that, she starred in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013, action thriller), musicians in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as her role as the kindergarten teacher. The debut of Gyllenhaal as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also was awarded the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
